Indie top down shooter Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour is available on Steam right now. It’s a first person fully packed adrenaline shooter made by indie developer Crackshell with the official approval from Croteam.

This year’s Pro Evolution Soccer tournament was held last week in Zagreb by Ciak Auto and Legame studio. Croteam was one of the proud sponsors of the mentioned event.

Lead Gameplay Programmer, Goran Adrinek is returning once again to Reboot stage this time with a must-hear lecture about Mixed Reality in Serious Sam VR.

Near the poolside area you can catch Reboot panelists Ante Vrdelja and Davor Tomicic discussing serious and less serious topics regarding game marketing and the art of stripping down. This should be fun.

Today we are celebrating the beginning of Serious Sam glory, the release of first series in Sam’s universe, The First Encounter. We were young twenty-something guys that shared one mutual dream – to develop video games. Serious Sam: The First Encounter was our breakthrough title and, oh boy, it caused a commotion in the gaming community. Demo for the game became the most downloaded demo of the summer 2000. Croteam partnered up with the Gathering of Developers (Devolver Digital today) and they became our publishers for this and all future Sam’s titles.

Fast-forward 16 years later and we are in 2017., year of virtual reality. We love VR and we love experimenting with it and one of our newest experiments is Serious Sam VR: The First Encounter. It’s a full locomotion game for the brave ones with the possibility of teleportation for the entry-level VR players. Game is in Early Access on Steam and it’s set for the full release soon.

Just in time for a Christmas surprise – we are proud to present you fast paced arcade action FPS and best VR experience ever –  Serious Sam VR: The First Encounter.

The game is released on Steam Early Access and is available at 10% off for the first week. Together with our friends and publishers Devolver Digital we can announce the first major update for Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope – online cooperative game mode, now available on Steam Early Access.

The new co-op mode allows for two players to play campaign online. This puts players side by side inside the VR simulation of Captain Sam’s combat logs with each player controlling one of two virtual-but-deadly versions of Sam Stone to deliver double the damage on Mental’s hordes of enemies. Players can jump in and start doling out destruction via either HTC Vive or Oculus Rift. Now you can finally blast those enemies with your best friend!

In addition to that, players can choose between two new difficulty settings: Tourist and Serious, both in single player and co-op mode.

Yes, the rumors are true. Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope is now available for Oculus Rift with the Touch controllers. After few months of speculations Oculus Touch controllers are now ready for the delivery as of this week. Set contains two controllers specifically designed for your left and right hand and a second sensor that goes along with the first one. This should improve your gaming experience even more.
