Serious Engine 3.5

Serious Engine 3.5 is a heavily upgraded version from the Serious Engine 3. It is based on Serious Engine 3, but with enough changes and running now on 5 different platforms, it can be considered a true mid-way point between Serious Engine 3 and a upcoming Serious Engine 4.

Serious Engine 3 is the first Serious Engine that features proper support for true HDR lighting.

Serious Engine 2

Serious Engine 2 is a heavily reworked version of original Serious Engine 1. It includes native support for the Xbox, code for vehicles, support for ragdolls, accurate physics and a macro scripting language for creating complex events in levels and coordinating enemy spawns.

Serious Engine 1 is the first engine developed by Croteam. It features large open worlds with large amount of enemies rendered on-screen at once, along with realistic shadows and lighting effects.
