The Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE is a virtual reality action shooter serving as a prequel to the original Indie and Game of the Year sensation, Serious Sam: The First Encounter. The game takes place during an epic final struggle against Mental’s invading forces and lets you lay waste to an army of beasts and mercenaries from a whole new perspective.

Redesigned to fit virtual reality, Serious Sam 3 VR: BFE features room-scale support, with true locomotion including teleport, instant teleport, blink teleport or smooth movement presets, with or without comfort mode. Also included are Croteam’s advanced VR controls, meant for the hardcore VR gamer.

SSVR: The Last Hope Lead Designer, Davor Hunski, Recaps Early Access – Part 2

Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope was released just two weeks ago on Steam and Oculus store and quickly became one of the must-have VR titles. While everybody at Croteam VR is thrilled with the reception and continues to work on updates, Davor Hunski remembers there was a time in the development of the game that felt somewhat… less rewarding.

Back in April, Croteam VR was making great progress. Planets Shaanti and Valtos were already released, each with four different levels and a unique boss fight, and the team just started the work on Arcadia Minor that would bring the total number of planets in the game to five. It was at Reboot Develop conference that the team suffered its greatest setback.

SSVR: TLH – Get ready to get Serious; The Skills and Power-Ups update is LIVE!

Hello friends and VR lovers. After Arcadia that pushed Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope to the verge of being finished, it’s finally time for Croteam VR to show you the great Skills and Power-Ups system that we have been working on since day one.

For the first time in series history Sam is not limited by his weapon handling skills and is able to annihilate even bigger alien armies thanks to the all new Skills and Power-Ups update.

With this update general Stone gains access to a skill tree that allows him to unlock passive and active abilities which players can buy alongside weapons and ammo in the shop. Skill points are unlocked by completing planets. Higher difficulty levels bring even more points that players can use to set up their skill inventory to better match their play style.

Lay waste on your enemies with tactical orbital lasers and plasma cannons, slow down time, create holographic decoys, release swarms of flying quadcopters, unleash an army of spiders, place minigun turret defenses or simply create giant explosions!

The Skills and Power-Ups update includes options to improve and upgrade weapons by finishing perfect runs. Players can gain one weapon upgrade per difficulty per planet, and unlock even more by playing future content that is yet to come.

Looks like we’ve got ourselves the next great entry in the Serious Sam Indie Series – Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour! It’s a retro-styled action-adventure in the Serious Sam saga made by Hammerwatch developer Crackshell.

Battle through beautiful Mediterranean locales, dangerous biological weapons labs and even high-tech moon bases as a one-man wrecking crew or in four-player online cooperative for maximum chaos! Dominate the chaotic Survival and Versus modes or make your own mods, modes, and even total conversions with the included game editor. Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour is the biggest little Serious Sam game ever made!

This Tuesday just got Serious. Sam is on fire!
