Our brand new release, critically acclaimed DLC, Road to Gehenna is 10 % off on Steam. This great offer ends on July 30th so we encourage you to get yourself a copy and check what’s all the fuss about!
Steam Weekend Sale is behind us and what can we say – it was quite successful! We want to thank you all for your support, and the best way to do that is by releasing two new wallpapers created by our favorite artist Tom J Manning.
The wallpapers are available for free download, click on the photos below.
“There are very few games this philosophically ambitious, and fewer that match that quality with equally intelligent game design. If you’ve not experienced it for yourself yet, go and play The Talos Principle. If you have, and you don’t feel like your brain has been stretched as far as it can go, then Road to Gehenna is a worthy next step.”
“It also doesn’t hurt that like the main game itself, Road to Gehenna looks breathtakingly gorgeous. With top-tier texture work, buttery smooth animation and the sort of hyper-detailed environments that really set it apart from its peers, it’s fair to say that much like The Talos Principle before it, Road to Gehenna is one of the most visually arresting titles available right now.”
The Talos Principle: Road to Gehenna is out on Steam for only 2 days but there are plenty of positive reviews coming in. One of which you should definitely check out is Ian Hincks opinion piece regarding our brand new release. He says that Road to Gehenna “has a really cool story” and that you “need to think outside the box” to solve the challenging puzzles.
We think that you need to get yourself a copy of this DLC and see if you agree with his opinion!
Both The Talos Principle and the expansion Road to Gehenna made it to Steam’s top ten list! We couldn’t be more proud, and we thank you for your support! It’s seems media and press love Gehenna as well, here are few reviews that popped up straight after release.
Rock Paper Shotgun
“This is really superb. Wonderful new puzzles, not over-complicating or trying to be a level of impossible above what came before, but still offering new challenges and new scope for the same tools. And a whole new story that lives within Talos’s original, but is communicated entirely through community discussion, and feels extremely reactive to the dialogue choices you make. It’s everything you could want an expansion to be.”
“This is Croteam taking all its tools and making the craziest, most elaborate puzzles it can think of, and that’s something few puzzle games get (or are allowed) to do for fear of losing the audience. There’s true craftsmanship on display in Road to Gehenna.”
The long-awaited expansion to our critically acclaimed The Talos Principle hit the ‘shelves’ today (if that’s the expression still used these days?). Road to Gehenna puts you in the shoes of Uriel, Elohim’s most beloved messenger, tasked with a mission to enter Gehenna and free souls trapped in this mysterious place. Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes once again return as screenwriting duo, keen to show players an entirely different side of Elohim’s world through a journey to Gehenna, hidden part of simulation filled with new characters and a new society with its own history and philosophy.
Road to Gehenna is available on Steam for 10% off the standard price during the first week of launch. To sweeten things up, The Talos Principle is the featured Steam Weekend Deal till 27th with a 66% off discount, which makes this a perfect combo for hot summer days! 😉
Enjoy discovering wonders of Gehenna, and may the words be with you!
While we are waiting for Gehenna, we’ve got some great news for you – The Talos Principle was nominated for 2015 Geekie Awards in video games category. Competition is awesome, with Klei leading the pack with two of their games nominated for the grand prize… This is certainly gonna be a tough one!

Expansion will consist of four episodes that take experienced players through some of the most advanced and challenging puzzles yet. Players will return to a strange, hidden part of the simulation as Uriel, Elohim’s messenger, and attempt to free the souls trapped in this mysterious place.
The Talos Principle writers Tom Jubert and Jonas Kyratzes have returned to pen the expansion and show players an entirely different side of Elohim’s world through a journey to Gehenna filled with new characters and a new society with its own history and philosophy.
It took a lot of effort to make expansion worthy of the original game, so we really hope you are gonna like it! 😉 May the words be with you!
